How to add music/videos to your MSN SPACEThe MSN Spaces team have released a new tool for adding music and video to your space. For more information please refer to the following blog entries: If you're struggling to get them to work or would prefer your videos to appear in actual blog entries, please feel free to continue to use the methods detailed below. Important Information When adding music (or video) to your space, there are couple of things to bear in mind: Where to store music/video files on the web If you're from the UK (and probably other countries) and you have a
broadband internet connection, it's highly likely that your ISP
(Internet Service Provider) gave you some personal webspace when you
signed up with them. This would be a perfect place to store your own
music and you should be able to find out more about whether you have
webspace or not on your ISPs homepage. If for some reason you don't have any webspace, I recommend registering with Anywhere File Hosting. They will give you 50MB of free space for you to store any type of file. How To Add Music To Your Space Note: When you press the <HTML> button you
are enabling advanced blog editing features, you will notice that the
contents of the blog editing space change. Text will often be
encapsulated in what are known as HTML tags e.g. <DIV>your
text</DIV>. Don't let this worry you, you're almost done. Note: If you're using your own webspace, the
address will usually be of the form shown above. If you're using
Anywhere File Hosting, the address will look something like this: http://www.anywhereenterprises.com/1/1/a?a=dF&p=ERZpQZrl1pQZOAApQZOAApQZ Now everytime that blog entry is loaded by someone, they will hear
the music you've selected. If you only wish the music to play once,
please remove the loop=infinite section of the code above. Tip: Annoyed by the music on someone's space? Press the Esc key to switch it off.
